Kristin Krueger completed her first season as the head girls basketball coach of the Sauk-Prairie Eagles and she has announced this year’s team award winners. The Eagles took a big jump forward from the previous season with a 12-12 overall record and a mark of 4-8 in Badger North and the Eagles won seven games in a row in the early portion of the season. Junior Nicole Meyer won the Coaches award with Junior Kaylee Selden winning the Most Improved Player honor. Freshman Taylor Greenheck wins the Rookie Of The Year and Seniors Georgia Breunig and Lindsay Sauer share the team MVP award. Breunig led the team in scoring and was named all-conference first team for the fourth time and also will be a WBCA All-Star game participant in June. Sauer and Sophomore Ali Roach were all-league honorable mention selections for the Eagles.
