Five players are repeat selections on this year’s all-league first team unit in girls volleyball in the South-Central Conference and two of them are from league champion Wisconsin Dells. Dells won a fifth straight conference title this year with a 10-0 league mark with Junior Alex Zapuchlak and Sophomore Jaden Ward repeating as first team selections for the Lady Chiefs with Sophomore Edith Nelson also representing Wisconsin Dells on the first team unit but no other Dells players were accorded all-conference recognition. Zapuchlak also was chosen as the SCC Player Of The Year. Juniors Emma Roenneburg and Hannah Landon are both first teamers for Adams-Friendship with Roenneburg a repeat selection. Senior Carly Johnson of Mauston is a repeat first team choice and rounding out the all-league squad is Senior Janna Gunderson of Wautoma, another repeat selection. Second team selections include Megan Bauer of Mauston, Shani Jooste and Kayla Montney of Westfield, Wautoma’s Abbie Mastricola along with Lexi Brost, Haley Baker and Desirae Schuh of Nekoosa.
