After two wins to start their State Tournament run, Wisconsin Dells went down to defeat Friday night 10-2 vs Viroqua at the State Class A Legion Baseball Tournament. Dells fell behind early 4-0 after the first two innings but did score twice in the top of the sixth on rbi hits from Colyn Buss and Billy Percival to get close but Viroqua broke the game open with a six-run sixth inning and they are now 3-0 for the tournament. Dells had nine hits but could score just the two runs with Dylan Moore and Tanner Rabuck each 2×3 at the plate for Wisconsin Dells. Viroqua had ten hits with Billy Percival the starting and losing pitcher for 20-3 Wisconsin Dells. Other games Friday at Viroqua saw Westby eliminate Clintonville 12-5 and Waupun knocked out Chilton 5-3. Saturday’s schedule shows Dells vs. Waupun at 5 PM in an elimination game with Westby taking on Viroqua at 8 PM and the tournament wraps up Sunday.
