The top young players in the 2013 Home Talent Baseball League will be on display Wednesday night as Warner Park, home of the Madison Mallards Northwoods League team, hosts the Home Talent Baseball Rising Stars game. Many of the top first year players in the league will take on a team of top second year players with the action beginning at 6:15 PM. Former Baraboo Thunderbird Dakota Daniels will represent the Caz Reds on the first year team with Ben Turner of Reedsburg and Brady Greene of Portage also on that roster for Wednesday night and second year players to be in action include former Baraboo Thunderbird Anthony Hoeschele for Black Earth, former Baraboo T-Bird Josh Statz for Cazenovia and Dylan Slotty and Tyler Prime for Sauk-Prairie. Former Brewers great and Baseball Hall Of Famer Paul Molitor will also be signing autographs at Warner Park from 4:30-6:30 PM on Wednesday. The regular Home Talent Baseball All-Star game will be played at Warner Park in August.
