Baraboo falls to 4-5 for the summer in Senior Legion baseball after a 10-0 loss at Wisconsin Dells Thursday night with the Dells squad showing well so far this summer. The Bandits go to Nekoosa tomorrow and will play two at Janesville Sunday.
Baraboo Bandits Junior Legion baseball is 1-6 for the summer and they host Portage tonight at 6 PM at Mary Roundtree Evans Field and will also head to Nekoosa tomorrow.
Reedsburg’s Senior Legion baseball team hosts Waunakee tonight at 5:30 PM at Nishan Park with an unbeaten record still intact for the summer at 5-0 after a hard fought 4-2 win over Lodi Thursday. Nate Runde was the winning pitcher while Ryan Holtz and Brandon Bormett had two hits each for Reedsburg who had scored ten runs or more in each game until last night.
Portage won a tight one 3-2 over Waunakee in Senior Legion baseball last night, getting the win with only two base hits. Logan Jacobs stroked an rbi single in a three-run third inning for Portage with another run scoring on a wild pitch and another on a balk and Portage hangs on to go 4-5 for the summer. Stian Anderson pitched the first five innings and got the win with five strike-outs before Jalen Walker finished up. Portage plays at De Forest Monday.
