Girls Basketball: Badger North-Baraboo at Reedsburg, Baraboo puts their unbeaten record on the line in Reedsburg, a place where the Baraboo girls have not won in several season, so if Baraboo is to keep the unbeaten season alive, that string would have to end tonight. Baraboo is 8-0 in league play and they improved to 15-0 overall with a 56-28 win over Sauk-Prairie Tuesday, their second 20 plus point win over the Eagles this season. The third ranked Baraboo girls will be the second ranked team to visit RAHS in six days as Reedsburg upset number six Onalaska Saturday 31-30 and that win along with a victory at Portage has Reedsburg at 4-3 in the conference and10-5 overall. Baraboo led by double digits early in the final period against Reedsburg in round one but sub-par free throw shooting for the Baraboo Thunderbirds down the stretch and a couple of clutch shots from the Beavers made it close but Baraboo won by four. Scott Pionke and Kristi Feld have the action live on 99.7 FM and AM 740-WRPQ tonight with pre-game coverage at about 7:20 PM.
Portage at Sauk-Prairie-Portage has yet to win a league game at 0-7 while Sauk at 1-6 has lost five straight Badger North contests. Sauk won 51-47 over the Warriors in the first meeting with the Eagles 6-9 overall and Portage 3-14. Sauk fans can see this game live on the Sauk-Prairie Eagle Sports Network.
De Forest at Mount Horeb-Mount Horeb has lost two straight league games while De Forest has won two of three in Badger North play with De Forest a winner in the first meeting.
Ridge and Valley Conference-Weston at De Soto, Weston won by over 30 points in the first meeting
Boys Basketball: Scenic Bluffs Conference-Bangor at Hillsboro, Bangor is only one game back of front running Royall while Hillsboro is 5-4 in the conference including a close loss at Bangor
Wonewoc-Center at Royall-Royall looks to rebound from an upset loss to Bangor with still a 9-1 league record with Wonewoc-Cener just 2-8.

Cashton at Necedah
Ridge and Valley Conference-Weston at De Soto, Weston is still looking for win number one this season.
SWC-Prairie Du Chien at River Valley-Prairie Du Chien is 4-3 in league play with River Valley 5-2 and in second place behind Richland Center. River Valley won the first meeting 42-39.
Boys Hockey: Sauk-Prairie Coop at Brookfield Coop-Sauk clinched at least a share of the Badger North title earlier this week in a 5-1 win over RWD with the Sauk group now 11-9-1 overall. Five different players scored goals for the Sauk team in the RWD win and they got strong defense with the return of goalie Koty Ranum to the lineup. The Brookfield squad is 6-14 on the season. Only one regular season game remains after tonight for the Sauk coop.
Girls Hockey: Badger Thunder at Viroqua in the Badger Conference at 7 PM-Thunder is 1-7-1 in the conference and that win was 11-0 over Viroqua back in December. Viroqua is winless at 0-7 in the conference season. The Badger Thunder is 6-13-2 overall after a 6-3 loss to Fond Du Lac last night.
Boys Swimming: Baraboo’s Jack Young Middle School hosts the Badger North boys swim meet at 6 PM-Baraboo, Sauk-Prairie Coop, De Forest, Waunakee and tourney favorite Mc Farland will all be in action. Tanner Craker has been Baraboo’s top performer with Bryan Frosch and Andrew Meng the top individuals for the Sauk coop.
Dells Ducks Junior Hockey home for 6:30 PM games Friday and Saturday and a Noon game Sunday at the Poppy Waterman Arena in Lake Delton.
