Boys Hockey: Badger North-Waunakee 5 Baraboo-Portage 2, Baraboo-Portage could have clinched at least a share of the league title and a possible outright championship with a win but now they finish at 3-3 in the conference and must get help to be part of a possible four-way tie for league honors. It was a 2-2 tie game after two periods with TJ Laux and Adam Stanton scoring goals for the Baraboo group but Waunakee scores three unanswered goals in the final period including one in the first 16 seconds and they improve to 3-2 in conference and they’ll be league champs if they win over RWD next week. Baraboo-Portage is now 10-6-2 overall with a game Thursday against Greendale.

Boys Basketball: Wisconsin Dells 62 Lodi 51-Dells improves to 18-0 overall with a win at Lodi in a matchup of highly ranked teams in the D-3 polls. Dells led 16-10 after one period and they were up four at halftime. Lodi took a slim lead two different times in the third period before the Chiefs went up one after three full quarters. Dells made seven of eight shots in the final period while Lodi went without a field goal for over four minutes as the Chiefs pull away while Lodi suffers just their second loss. MJ Delmore scores 17 and Shane Wimann and Mike Dickman 13 each for Wisconsin Dells and Jordan Shea had 17 points for Lodi. These two teams could meet again in a D-3 Sectional final in early March.

Badger North-Mount Horeb 69 Portage 55, Mount Horeb’s 12-0 run in the second half broke open a close game with Mount Horeb now 6-2 in the conference with Portage 3-3. Daniel Beck scores 16 and Jordan Walker 12 for the Warriors with Isiah Lesure scoring 15 for Mount Horeb in the win.

River Valley 58 Belleville 36-River Valley breaks a three-game losing skid, opening up a 24-point lead after three quarters to go 11-5 for the season. Taylor Thering scores 18 and Adam Mueller 12 for the victorious Blackhawks.

Wonewoc-Center 54 Weston 28-Palmer Schroeder and Chris Goodenough score 14 each for Wonewoc with Sawyer Schmitt scoring 12 for winless Weston.

Girls Basketball: Hillsboro 42 Weston 25 with Hillsboro now 12-4 on the season

Gymnastics: Baraboo 114.65 Sauk-Prairie 114.1-Baraboo’s Jordan Laymon wins the vault, bars and floor exercise with a first in the all-around as well.
