Boys Basketball: Badger North-Reedsburg 56 Baraboo 34, Reedsburg pulls away late with a 20-8 fourth quarter advantage. Baraboo commits 27 turnovers with nine of them coming in the first period with Baraboo now 1-11 overall and 0-6 in the conference as Ty Schlichtmann scores 11 points. Reedsburg improves to 3-3 in the league and 7-5 overall, breaking a three-game losing skid, with Capreace Salinas and Ty Horkan scoring 13 each.

Non-Conference-Sauk-Prairie 45 River Valley 42, Sauk made ten three-point goals in the contest and the Eagles also made six straight free throws in the final minute to go 8-5 on the season. Bailey Breunig scores 17 points to lead the Eagles with Simon Breunig adding 12 on four three-point goals. 9-4 River Valley now has lost two in a row with Carter Hoffman scoring 13 and Taylor Thering 12 for the Blackhawks.

Portage 61 Poynette 59-Portage was down seven at the half before outscoring the Pumas 13-1 in the third quarter and then held off Poynette with an 11-14 free throw effort in the final quarter. Matt Bare and Jordan Walker score 16 each with Stian Anderson scoring 12 for the 6-6 Portage Warriors.

South-Central Conference-Wisconsin Dells 49 Mauston 38, Dells wins the showdown of unbeaten conference teams, pulling away late with a 16-9 edge in the final period. The victorious Chiefs were 19 of 22 at the foul line and got 16 points from Colyn Buss and 11 each from Mike Dickman and MJ Delmore. Dells is now 6-0 in the SCC and 14-0 overall with Mauston 5-1 in the conference and 14-4 overall with Joel Heesch scoring 17 for Mauston.

Scenic Bluffs Conference-Necedah 63 Hillsboro 62, The 62 points are a season best for Hillsboro but they fall to 4-3 in conferene with Necedah 6-1.

Royall 85 Brookwood 45-Royall leads the Scenic Bluffs standings at 7-0.

Bangor 68 Wonewoc-Center 55-Josh Brockman scores 23 for Wonewoc

Cashton 65 New Lisbon 63

Girls Basketball: Non-Conference-Reedsburg 37 Tomah 18, Reedsburg holds an opponent under 20 points for the second time this season and they break a three-game losing skid to go 6-4 overall. Beth Maenpaa scores 16 points in the win for Reedsburg.

Stoughton 78 Portage 64-Portage falls to 3-10 and they give up 43 first half points to Stoughton in the loss. Addison Hemming scores 19, Jayne Hurd 16 and Caitlyn Hibner 15 in the loss for Portage.

South-Central Conference-Wisconsin Dells 56 Nekoosa 51, Dells improves to 2-2 in the conferene with their second straight SCC win. The Lady Chiefs are now 6-7 overall with Nekoosa now also 2-2 in the conference.

Adams-Friendship 49 Wautoma 37-Adams leads the conference at 3-0

Wrestling: Badger North-Sauk-Prairie 49 Baraboo 24, Baraboo falls to 2-2 in conference with the match winners including Trevor Hanson, Andre Mayllen and Hudson Greenwood with one forfeit win. Sauk is 4-1 in conference action and their winners Tuesday included Kyle Herbrand, Aaron Hankins, Austin Fjoser,  Austin Powell, Brandon Sprecher, Chris Chrisler, Jared Schaaf, Gage Neumeier, Abe Bonneville and Caleb Sisbach

Boys Hockey: Baraboo-Portage 1 West Salem 1-Sean Mc Cutchin with 27 saves for Baraboo-Portage who is now 8-4-2 overall.

Boys Swimming: Baraboo 108 Waunakee 62-Brian Cormican, Tanner Craker and Matthew Garcia all won two individual events for a Baraboo squad that is 2-1 in conference duals.

Gymnastics: Waunakee 116.85 Baraboo 108.15-Jordan Laymon wins the Floor and Beam and the all-around title for Baraboo.

UW-Baraboo Men’s Basketball plays Wednesday night at UW-Rock County at 7 PM
