Boys Basketball: Badger North-Mt Horeb 54 Baraboo 43, a strong fourth quarter was not enough for Baraboo who found themselves down 13 at the half and 18 after three periods. Baraboo had a season low 11 turnovers offensively and forced 19 for Mount Horeb but the Thunderbirds fall to 0-5 in the conference and 1-10 overall with their ninth straight loss. Ty Schlichtmann scored 19 points with Austin Sandoval adding 11 in the loss. Drew Frederickson scored 12 and Brett Jerdee 11 for the Vikings who are now 4-1 in league play.
Portage 49 Reedsburg 48-Reedsburg falls to 2-3 in conference and they’ve now dropped three of the last four overall despite 14 points from Capreace Salinas. Portage improves to 3-1 in conference with Jordan Walker’s free throw in the final second winning the game. Walker had 11 points and Matt Bare and Stian Anderson ten each for the Warriors.
Waunakee 66 De Forest 50-Ryan Kruser’s 22 points paced three double figure scorers for Waunakee who is now 4-0 in the conference with De Forest 2-4 despite 16 points from Josiah Owen.
Non-Conference-Sauk-Prairie 51 Monona Grove 39, Sauk jumped out to a 13-4 lead after one quarter and made it stand up to go 7-5 for the season. Tanner Leister scored 16 points, Bailey Breunig 13 and Jake Fiene 12 for the Eagles as MG falls to 7-4 overall.

Ridge and Valley Conference-North Crawford 67 Weston 23
Girls Basketball: South-Central Conference-Wisconsin Dells 56 Wautoma 37, Dells notches their first conference win with a 32-15 halftime advantage. Jaden Ward, Karissa Mace and Dana Percival all scored 12 points each for the Lady Chiefs who snap a five-game overall losing streak. Wautoma is 0-3 in the SCC.
Westfield 55 Mauston 44-Westfield improves to 2-0 in league play with Mauston 1-2
Adams-Friendship 49 Nekoosa 41-Emma Roenneburg scores 15 for 2-0 Adams with Nekoosa now 2-1 in the conference.
Scenic Bluffs Conference-Hillsboro 47 Brookwood 33, Hilary Stanek combine for 28 points and six three-point goals for Hillsboro as the Tigers and Brookwood both now sit at 3-2 in the conference.
New Lisbon 25 Royall 23-Royall suffers their first conference loss at 5-1 with New Lisbon now 4-1 in league play.

Wrestling: Badger North-Reedsburg 31 De Forest 25, Reedsburg victories go to Wyatt Rabuck, Nate Erbs, Nick Sieber, Macklin Bautch, Ty Brandt, Dylan Kuester, Nick Noye and Nate Bergman with Reedsburg now 2-2 in the conference while De Forest is now 1-3.
SWC-River Valley 43 Platteville 18, first conference dual win for River Valley with Joe Crook, Seth Liegel, Garrett Riek and Zach Koch posting wins and the Blackhawks also get four forfeit wins.
Scenic Bluffs Conference-Necedah at Royall postponed with no school in the Necedah district Friday
Boys Hockey: Badger North-Waunakee 5 Reedsburg-Wisconsin Dells 3, RWD scored all three goals in the second period with Matt Olson, Colin Scanlon and Andrew Schulenburg all finding the back of the net with Cortland Maxfield assisting twice but Waunakee scores five goals on 30 shots on net to get the win to go 2-1 in conference. RWD is now out of title contention in Badger North at 0-3 with a 9-6 overall record.
Dells Ducks Junior Hockey wins 4-1 over Hudson with Skylar Harding scoring two goals for the Ducks in the win.
