Boys Basketball: Badger North-Baraboo at Mount Horeb, Baraboo is 1-9 overall and looking to snap an eight-game losing skid tonight. Baraboo is 0-4 in the conference after a loss at home to De Forest last week and Baraboo had a season high 29 turnovers Tuesday in a home loss to unbeaten La Crosse Central. Mount Horeb has perhaps exceeded expectations with a 7-3 overall record and a 3-1 conference mark, good for second place and the Vikings have veterans in Shane Collins, Brett Jerdee and Isiah Lesure leading the way. Portage at Reedsburg-Portage is 2-1 in the conference and still in the title chase but the Warriors are 4-6 overall after a loss to a fine Waupun team Tuesday 63-54 despite 19 points from Daniel Beck. Reedsburg is 2-2 in the conference after a 17-point loss at Waunakee Tuesday and that leaves the Beavers at 6-4 overall with two straight losses including a setback vs Poynette. Nate Runde has picked up his point production of late for the Beavers and has led the team offensively in recent games.
De Forest at Waunakee-De Forest is 2-3 in the conference and trying to get back to the .500 mark tonight against the league leaders in Waunakee with the Warriors 3-0 in the league after a win over Reedsburg earlier this week. De Forest upset Waunakee in the post-season en route to the WIAA State Tournament last year and this is the first meeting since.
Non-Conference-Monona Grove at Sauk-Prairie, Sauk is 6-5 overall after a loss to Portage last week 50-44 with Sauk having won five of six overall coming into the contest. Tanner Leister has emerged as another big offensive weapon in recent games for the Eagles. Monona Grove is in contention for the Badger South title at 3-1 and the Silver Eagles are 7-3 overall and will provide a stiff challenge for the Sauk-Prairie Eagles.
Ridge and Valley Conference-North Crawford at Weston, Weston remains winless on the season
Girls Basketball: South-Central Conference-Wisconsin Dells at Wautoma, Dells is off to an 0-2 start in league play with losses to Mauston and Westfield and the Lady Chiefs are in the midst of a five-game overall losing streak after a one-point setback to Sauk on Monday. Wisconsin Dells is now 4-7 overall and they’ll face a Wautoma that joins them at 0-2 in the conference coming intto tonight.

Nekoosa at Adams-Friendship-Nekoosa leads the SCC at 2-0
Scenic Bluffs Conference-Brookwood at Hillsboro, Hillsboro is 2-2 with two straight league wins with Brookwood in contention at 3-1 in the Scenic Bluffs.
Royall at New Lisbon-Royall is down a couple of players due to injury but they are still 5-0 in league play with New Lisbon also in the hase at 3-1.
Wonewoc-Center at Necedah-both teams are winless in conference play
Cashton at Bangor
Wrestling: Badger North-Reedsburg at De Forest, both teams are 1-2 in the conference with Reedsburg coming off a win over Baraboo last week and the Norskies lost to Baraboo earlier this week. Reesburg has also won six duals out of conference with a title at the Eau Claire Memorial Invite.
Scenic Bluffs Conference-Necedah at Royall, Royall’s defending state champion Christian Moore is unbeaten on the season
SWC-Platteville at River Valley, River Valley’s Seth Liegel has won over 70 matches in a row and is vying for a second straight state individual title
Boys Hockey: Badger North-Waunakee vs Reedsburg-Wisconsin Dells at RACA in Reedsburg at 7:30 PM, Waunakee is 1-1 in the conference with a win over the Baraboo group and a loss to the Sauk-Prairie coop with RWD 0-2 in the conference with tight losses in low scoring games against the Sauk coop and the Baraboo coop. RWD is 9-5 overall after a 7-6 loss to Madison Edgewood earlier this week in Madison. The Sauk coop plays at Milwaukee Marquette tomorrow.
