Girls Basketball: Badger North-Baraboo 62 Mt Horeb 41-Baraboo improves to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference and they took control early, leading 37-11 at halftime. Emily Brinker scored 15, Sam Terry and Kelsey Digman added 12 apiece and Isabel Schmelzer scores ten as well for the Thunderbirds who forced 25 Mt Horeb turnovers. Mt Horeb is now 1-3 in conference.
Waunakee 66 Sauk-Prairie 43-Sauk fell behind 40-20 by halftime and could not recover. Ali Roach led Sauk with 12 points as the Eagles fall to 1-3 in conference while Jada Dayne’s 13 led a balanced attack for the Warriors, now 2-1 in league play. Sauk did convert six three-point goals in the loss.
De Forest 66 Portage 43-Portage was still in the game at halftime, down ten, before watching De Forest score 26 third quarter points as the Norskies improve to 2-1 in conference with Portage 0-3. Kayla Goth scored 19 for the victorious Norskies with Emily Grunder scoring 15 and Caitlyn Hibner 13 for Portage.
Non-Conference-Oregon 41 Reedsburg 39-Reedsburg led by two after three quarters but Oregann rallies for the win. Reedsburg was just 8-18 at the foul line with Oregon only making 4 of 16 but they still get the win. Beth Maenpaa scores 15 and Tiernee Schronk 10 for the 5-2 Beavers who had won three in a row.
Boys Basketball: Badger North-De Forest 63 Baraboo 47, Baraboo trailed 22-11 after one quarter and never could make a serious run. Baraboo had 17 first half turnovers but got 14 points from Joe Bruni, including three three-point goals, 12 from Andrew Hendricks and ten from Ty Schlichtman, Baraboo is now 1-8 overall and 0-4 in the conference. De Forest improves to 2-3 in Badger North with Jeff Berry scoring 14 points.
South-Central Conference-Wisconsin Dells 80 Wautoma 42, Dells improves to 11-0 with a 4-0 league record. 80 points or more scored for the third time this year for the Chiefs.
Mauston 58 Westfield 39-Mauston shares first place at 4-0 with Wisconsin Dells in the SCC

Scenic Bluffs Conference-Hillsboro 49 Wonewoc-Center 41, Matt Anderson scores 18 for the Hillsboro Tigers who improve to 3-1 in conference with Wonewoc-Center now 1-4.

Boys Hockey: Sauk-Prairie Coop 2 Mc Farland 2-Sauk rallies from 2-0 down in the final period on goals from Logan Diehl and Luke Mc Elhenie. Both goalies made 32 saves with Sauk now 9-6-1 overall.
RWD 3 Stoughton 2-Michael Olson makes 32 stops in goal for RWD who is now 9-4 for the season
