It’s a holiday weekend and area Home Talent Baseball teams in the Northern Section will play a pair of Sunday League games with a full schedule Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s matchups include Plain at Reedsburg, Cazenovia at Richland Center, Sauk-Prairie at Mazo, Middleton at Ashton, Black Earth at Cross Plains and Pine Bluff at Waunakee with all the games at 1:00 except for a 4 PM start with Sauk at Mazo. Sunday’s games include Cazenovia at Reedsburg, Plain at Sauk-Prairie, Mazo at Richland Center, Waunakee at Cross Plains, Black Earth at Middleton and Pine Bluff at Ashton. Reedsburg enters the weekend as the West Division leaders at 8-2 with Cazenovia at 6-4, Sauk at 4-6 while Mazo, Plain and Richland Center all are 2-8. Middleton and Cross Plains share the East Division lead at 8-2 with Waunakee 7-3, Ashton 5-5 and Pine Bluff and Black Earth are both 4-6 in the Sunday League. All of Sunday’s games are 1 PM starts.
